Introducing the EDC Initiative
We just launched a new initiative, a co-companion, or sister if you will, of the very successful HPC Advisory Council.
The Efficient Data Center Initiative will provide best practices for an optimized cloud computing data center and best practices that address green computing imperatives on all fronts. We also have a great TCO engine in place where IT managers can quickly see the cost, power, and performance benefits of the various interconnect options available.
Also available to end-users, software and hardware developers is the EDCi Cluster Center. The cluster center offers an environment for developing, testing, benchmarking and optimizing products based on InfiniBand and 10 GigE technology. The center, located in Santa Clara, California, provides on-site technical support and enables secure sessions onsite or remotely.
